The Sorcerer's Apprentice

The third movie I saw was The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Turns out that the movie is loosely based off a poem that also some of Fantasia is based off of. I honestly went into this movie not expecting a whole lot. The trailers made the movie seem a little cheesy. I was pleasantly surprised leaving the theater.

This is a fun movie. It's definitely a movie that everyone in the family would enjoy. The story starts off a little different than I imagined it would have so that was nice. There are a lot of nice effects and lots of humor. The movie even has a couple of love stories tossed into there. I always like that. I mean, I am a girl. ;) The story was easy to follow and they stuck to it throughout. There are even some homages to Mickey Mouse snuck-in but you have to stay after to see one of them. = o

Go see it and bring the kids along. You'll have fun. =)
