Polymer Clay Goodness

Got some more polymer clay goodness happening here. A dragon, a few Mon-mons, lots of Deadly Lollies, and some snails. All were fun to make. The Deadly Lollies came by accident. The first pair of wings that I was going to use for the dragon were too big so they got mashed and twisted together into some Deadly Lollies.

Awe, don't you love this Mon-Mon's derpy face?

This Mon-Mon should be an award of some kind. He's so shiny!

This is proof that Mon-Mons come in a variety of colors. Sometimes more than two at a time!

It seems that this Mon-Mon found another kind of food to love. Not sure it's the best choice for the mischievous Mon-Mons. Who knows what sugar will do to them.

Larger Deadly Lollies.

Deadly Lollies without the sticks.

Rainbow and Tootie-Fruitie.

Some fun colored snails.

An Oldie and Some New

First, I'll start with an older craft. This is an amigurumi that I made for my newest nephew. I made this back in February but with the move and all this was the only good picture that I got of it. I'm not sure why I decided on a wolf. All I remember is that I like the color combination and the sparkles in the green yarn. I figured it would make a good plush for him.

Here are some polymer clay rings and a charm. I just finished glazing these yesterday. I've always wanted to make some polymer rings but I didn't have the right ring backs. I eventually found them at a Hobby Lobby in  WA and now had a chance to do something with them here in TX. These are the designs that I thought would be fun. And the little charm will be fun to wear on a necklace or something. I thought that Paperman was a cutest short when I first saw it. I figured it would be an awesome charm.

And finally, here is another Mon-Mon. This time he's blue/pink and love brains just as much as the other Mon-Mons. Although this time it seems he may have gotten a little hungry before he could be photographed.

More Mon-Mons

I'm loving making these guys. The personality of the species, as well as each, has been fun to discover as I make more and more of them. Who knew that they would be fans of brains? Who knew that they are mischievous and funny? Writing the descriptions has been an awesome part of this as well. I get to give them their own personality just by writing down a couple of sentences. It's awesome.
You all better be planning on me making more of these guys. I'm really hoping that I'm not the only one that loves them.

Awe. These Mon-Mons are in love. And what a better way to show it than  giving some tasty brains to your soul mate?

Huh. It seems these Mon-Mons like to call themselves the Analogous Brothers. I wonder why that is?

Uh oh... It looks like the Mon-Mons are hungry. But who's to know that they're the sharing type? One can only hope...

Introducing Mon-Mons

These are Mon-Mons. I liked the idea of making tiny monsters that were versatile and cute. I came up with this design. The possibilities are endless with the different combination of things on these guys. Everything from faces to poses can be changed. I already have some ideas for Valentine's Day Mon-Mons that I'm itching to start. They're going to be fun. ^^

I accidently used the wrong kind of clay for the bodies. I found out after baking them that I used transparent clay. Oops. This meant the colors are darker and less opaque than expected. I'll make sure to pay more attention to that next time. xD
