How to Train Your Dragon

The latest movie I've seen is How to Train Your Dragon. It has been a while since this movie first hit the theaters. Many of my fellow students at school were telling me how much they liked this movie and I've been eagerly waiting to see it. The four of us still at home went into the $2 theater to see it.

I'm glad that I finally got the chance to see it. I really liked how everything was animated. Everything was nicely polished and textured from the characters to the scenery. That is something I've felt like DreamWorks was missing in the fourth Shrek movie. The last movie that of theirs were I liked the atmosphere was Kung Fu Panda. I also liked the character designs. The Vikings were fun and interesting to look at as were the dragons. The only one that really stood out was the main dragon named Toothless. His design was quite a bit different than the other dragons but I think it fit since he was a different class of dragon.

Throughout the film Hiccup (the main character) is trying to impress everyone in his village but most of the time makes things worse. And when he finally does something that is to be commended, the people don't believe him. Hiccup decides that he's going to prove what he did but ends up not being able to do it. Instead he starts building a relationship with Toothless. And if I say anything more then I'm going to ruin it for everyone.

How to Train Your Dragon is a fun movie for everyone in the family. Go ahead and see it. I'm sure you'll like it. ;)

One of my favorite all time animated movies so far. I loved Toothless and Hiccup together. Such an awesome movie. I'm glad you got to see it in the theaters.

Hope school is going well. I'm glad we got to see each other in April. It was good to see you.
