I Finally Bought Twilight

Recently I’ve been hearing a lot from my sister and aunt about a book series by Stephenie Meyer. All I knew of Twilight and its following books is that it dealt with a normal girl named Bella and a vampire named Edward. I think there are two reasons why I thought this sounded interesting to me: 1) There has been a part of me that has liked vampires and I pretty sure that I get that from my father. 2) I am currently writing my own story/novel (whatever you want to call it) about vampires, and I’m interested to see what other other authors’ opinions are… Although I can’t call myself an author since I don’t have anything published.

So yesterday Zak was kind enough to drive me to Barnes and Noble to get Twilight and Vol. 24 of Rurouni Kenshin. So far I’m only at page 117, but I’m sure glad that I bought the hard cover version. At this point though I’m impatient to find out how Bella finally discovers Edward is a vampire. I want to know how that scene works out.

Since I heard about this book from my aunt, it doesn’t surprise me that she would find a vampire name generator. Here’s the link: http://www.emmadavies.net/vampire/ . I thought it was fun. In the words of my aunt, well sort of, I like how this was a unbiased way to get a name. There aren’t any dumb questions to answer; it just gives the name to you. Here’s what it said about me:

The Great Archives determine you to have gone by the identity:
Goddess of Drac
Known in some parts of the world as:
Poison of Wraiths
The Great Archives Record:
A needy and violent spirit.
