Amber e-mailed me this link on how to make your own sketchbook. I almost took a class in Idaho on how to bind and make your own books. So needless to say I had to try this right away!It's really simple and easy to follow. The directions might seem overwhelming at first but when you go step-by-step it's very easy. Just make sure to measure a lot. I was going to do the light blue of the little book as the inside color for the bigger book. 5 1/2" + 5 1/2" =/= 10" though. D= Whoops. I like the purple on the inside better. I was only planning on making the bigger book at first but I realized that I needed a smaller one. I also found some ribbon lying around the house, so it was perfect! I needed the book to close so it wouldn't get damaged traveling in bags.
I wish the pictures would show the texture of the paper more. Oh well. They still look good I think. ;)
