Well, if Jared gets things made by me then so should his sister. =D Yeah, pretty much made this the day that Amber called me and said that I was getting a niece. xD I didn't get the chance to paint the face until yesterday. I figured the odds of the girl getting red hair and blue eyes is there. I didn't want to make here blonde. All cute dolls are blonde! I wanted something different. The dresses where pretty simple to make. I tried to add sleeves in the white, but it turns out sating is hard at that size. >.< She does have bloomers on the underside though. That makes up to for it, right?

For My Niece

Blue eyes won't happen though, Greg and I only pass brown.
Well, there's always a possibility with brown eyes to pass blue. You have to both have the recessive gene but it's there.
LOL, this post elicited a 20 minute discussion on genetics and inheritance at the Crown Burger. The only way one can say NO blue is if both parents are homozygous brown (both sets, four pairs) otherwise...yep, there is a chance. Good Luck! :)
