So I saw Disney-Pixar's Up with the family yesterday. I gotta say that Disney-Pixar are doing a great job again. The style and animation of the movie is done nicely. Seeing it in 3D was nice but not completely necessary. There were some parts of the film that didn't even look like it was 3D while other parts you could definitely tell that there was 3D.
I really liked the story in this too. There is a montage at the beginning of the movie that I really liked. It shows Carl's main motive for making his house go aerial with balloons. The montage itself almost made me cry and there were parts in the rest of the movie that I almost cried at as well.
Now don't go thinking that this is a sappy story, it's not. True to Disney-Pixar's form they add humor. It especially comes into play when Dug shows up. He is a dog that has a collar on him that allows him to talk. He's not the only talking dog though. That's where even more humor comes. Also from Russell who's a part of the Wilderness Explorers, pretty much a Boy Scouts.
I enjoyed this movie a lot. It's not my absolute favorite only because WALL-E will always hold a special place in my heart. I just love that robot. Go and see Up. It's a lot of fun and you'll enjoy it yourself. I'm sure of that. ;D

Sounds like fun--- we want to see it; I guess we'll have to wait until fall or find a babysitter---wanna come to Texas? ;)
I loved Up. I cried a few times, though. It's sad. SQUIRREL!
