Third Try and a Movie

After receiving some shocked comments on Facebook I decided to finally write about it. I didn't really think that people would be shocked by me having pierced ears. Maybe it's because I don't ever wear earrings? Well, I can explain why I haven't tried again until recently.

First reason is the past two failed attempts. Both times that I tried before one ear ended up getting infected and so they closed up. I think one infection was caused by one of my brothers yanking on a hoop and nearly tearing the earring all the way down the lobe. (I know, graphic image.) Second reason is because I haven't really cared much about wearing earrings before. I have been getting out of my tomboyish ways--for the most part--recently and I wanted to wear earrings. The final reason explains my urge to wear earrings. As you guys know I like to make charms and I've been wanting to wear them as earrings, but I couldn't before. Well, 6-8 weeks from now I'll be able to. And as an extra precaution I'm only wearing pure or hypoallergenic metals. No more infections for me. Let's hope that third times a charm actually works.

After I got my ears pierced yesterday, the family met up to see Angels & Demons. I enjoyed the movie a lot. This is much to the dismay of some critics that Dad, Mom, and I watched after viewing the movie. One word explains these critics: morons. Flawed thought processes and mudane accusations were made when these two spoke. We laughed our butts off at them. One of their 'big' things about the movie was that if you haven't read the book then you would have no idea of what was going on. So untrue. Mom and I knew what was going on without reading the book. They also hated how it ended. I liked how it ended. The critics thought that this was, quote, "improbable." Dad told us how the book actually ended and that was worse. I like the way it was changed for the movie. I think that if you enjoyed The Da Vinci Code then you'll enjoy this movie.

Jealous! I really need to find a babysitter so Greg and I can go see it! (Dad gave me his book and I enjoyed it more than DaVinci).

Maybe you can come and visit? ;)

Glad you got your ears pierced, you'll love it!

Congrats on the pierced ears. I love wearing earrings, even though sometimes I'm too lazy to put them in. ;)

Yay! Amber's getting a babysitter and not taking Jared to the movies with her! I'm so proud of you, Amber! :D
