Despereaux's Tale

So the whole week I was getting pretty excited to go see Body Worlds at the Leonardo in Salt Lake last weekend. The weekend came and we found out that they were completely sold out; even the 24 hr. showing. Glenn and I had Taylor tagging along and thought of our options of what to do instead. A movie. So we saw The Tale of Despereaux.

I thought it was a cute movie. I don't see why people were so confused about it in reviews. I honestly don't. There's conflict and that's what makes a movie. I can't say how it fairs against the book, but I would think that they did a good job. It's definitely not like the other kid movies out there. It's not happy-go-lucky all the time but the kids will still enjoy it a lot.
