After classes Annette came over and picked me up. She was totally dressed in her Pumpkin Witch wardrobe while Taylor was a Butterfly Princess and Bug a Pirate. We were heading for Glenn's work, Ominture, where they have this huge Halloween party. Workers and their families come to trick-or-treat from division to division. Some of the divsions were BYU, Utah State, Wizard of Oz, Gotham City, Enchanted Forest, and tons others. It got so crowded so quickly. It caught all of us off guard. Taylor actually lost her wand for a while until we came back when Omniture was closed and found it.
After Omniture, Annette and Glenn signed the papers to move into their house. It's a nice house. Taylor wanted to spend the night there even without the furniture. xD We took Taylor trick-or-treating in their new neighborhood while I was trick-or-treating for Bug. He sat in the car with Annette the whole time while Glenn and I took Taylor around. Occasionally it would rain and so we had the car for back-up. The kids ended up getting pounds of candy. Taylor was totally into eating it the next day. =P
I spent the night at Gma and Gpa's that night. Annette wanted to get some suff in their car to start taking into the new house as well as Gma looking at Halloween stuff on sale. They dropped me off around 5p.m. at my apartment because I was going to go to my ward's Halloween party. Annette let me snatch a pumpkin of theirs to use for the pumpkin carving contest. The pumpkin took me about 2 hrs. to carve, and I ended up winning. I think, though, that was only because there were only three pumpkins to choose from. >.< The back of it projected "Happy Halloween" while the front was an attempt to just peel the skin off to make the meat of the pumpkin glow showing the 'haunted house.' (The first picture is me showing off the candy I won.) I also tried a costume contest but didn't win anything. There were four categories and only two people who won deserved the spot. It was more of a popularity contest than anything. Oh well; this is college.
Sarah, Catherine, and I.
My lame pumpkin.
