Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who

So last Saturday Jessica and I decided to go see Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who. We both loved the story as kids and thought that the movie would be cute.

I'm so glad that we saw it. The movie stays true to the story for it being like a ten page children's book. =P The animation is very unique and fun for this movie. It helps keep that feel of Dr. Seuss throughout. They also added some parts to make it funny. There's this one part where Horton goes off into his imagination and it cracked me up; of course that might be just because it was all in anime/manga style. xD They also added a couple sequences where it was in the style of Dr. Seuss (2D). Again, this was Horton's imagination.

I'm also very pleased with the actors that they chose for the voice-overs. They all did a wonderful job. It added so much more to the movie. So all-in-all, I liked this movie a lot. I recommend it.
