A week ago, Mom took Parker and I to Halloween stores and Target. We wanted to start decorating the house for Halloween a.s.a.p. We never got around to decorating the house then. However, we found some pretty neat stuff at the Halloween stores.
First of all, I need to take back that the fish hat was the most ridiculous hat that I've ever seen. We found one that was even more ludicrous. It was a chicken. A whole chicken. Parker loved the hat and he mentioned that it was crazy hat day the following Monday (today). Mom laughed so hard that she nearly wet herself. She came up with the idea that Parker could have worn the chicken hat and then he could dress like a egg for Halloween. The only problem was that the chicken cost $25. Mom tried her best to reason for buying a $25 chicken hat. It just seemed silly to wear it twice and that was it. And so the chicken didn't come home with us.
We then went to Target because Mom wanted to look at the Halloween stuff there. We looked around but nothing really caught mom's eye. She did like the tombstones there, but they were really expensive as well. I then found a $10 Halloween gingerbread house. I decorated one for Christmas and I thought it was fun. I decorated it the best I could considering that the black icing was runny. You had to mix the water with the powder, and I guess I put a little too much water in the black icing. It turned out pretty decent though.

You know, if my almost 30 years of life, I've never decorated a gingerbread house. I really should as it sounds like fun.
I think you should've bought the chicken hat even though it cost $25. That would've been the BEST Halloween costume ever! Even better than my butterfly caught in a web. Oh well....
Have you finished Eclipse yet? Get the lead out, lady!!!
I'm getting there. I'm over half way done. I usually read it before I go to bed.
