I told you I would finish this one faster than Twilight although it is longer.
This book of the series was a lot sadder. Bella was depressed for more than three-quarters of the book. Then she thought that maybe she was crazy. I was glad when she finally met up with Jacob during her depression. She wasn't really either when she was around him.
When I read the scene in Twilight where Bella and Jacob first met, I immediately knew that there was going to be werewolves somewhere in the series. When Jacob was scared of Sam Uley and described his little gang, I knew that they were going to be the werewolves. Which was a good thing that there were; Victoria wanted Bella. Crazy vampire lady.
I really did like the end of the book. (I stayed up until 2:30 a.m. finishing the last three chapters and the epilogue.) Bella and Edward finally told each other their feelings, and Bella finally realized that her rationale was off by a long shot. Thank goodness. I found it interesting that the Volturi gave them an ultimatum. I never thought that that would come. I'm interested to see when Bella becomes one of them. I guess I'll see in Eclipse. ^^

You're almost there...and then we can talk more.
I'm glad you don't hate Jacob. A lot of people did/do, me being one of them at first. (I didn't hate him because I thought he was evil; I just didn't want her to settle for him.) After reading Eclipse, I realized how irrational I was.
Have fun!
